Day 68: 11 April 2013

It was another long day at work, so I don’t have a whole ton to show for tonight. But I think I finally fixed a bug that has made it so that some of you international followers have been unable to play the game for at least a month now.

I want to explain what the problem was and how I fixed it, but I’m waiting for confirmation that it does in fact work. For those of you who couldn’t get the game to load before, tell me if the newest update works or not, if you can.

In other news, today is your first chance to see the automatic updates! I just tried it on my machine. It worked. Clearly, that means it will work for everyone else now too. If the game has been working for you so far, you probably won’t notice any visible changes in the update. Just let me know if it explodes on you now.

One final note. It seems like in the last couple of days, I’ve gotten emails from a whole bunch of you. I intend on responding personally, but I just haven’t had time. For now, know that I’ve read your emails (I read every single one) and that your comments, suggestions, and encouragement are all incredibly helpful. Honestly, until you’re on the receiving end of it, it might be tough to really see just how far a simple “fan email” goes. Please know that they all keep me smiling (even laughing, some times) and they keep me motivated.
